Freestyle, freeride or all-mountain, we guide you in the choice of a women's snowboard, men's or child's snowboard

Snow size: an important choice

The first step in starting this thrilling activity is to decide what kind of "ride" you want to do. There are two of them: freestyle and all mountain. Once you've made your choice, all you have to do is select your snowboard size according to the specificities of each type of activity. Freestyle: choose a short snowboard. To find out the dimensions adapted to your morphology, just make a small calculation which consists in removing between 20 and 25 cm of your converted size in the same unit. A person of 1m75 will be better off going for a board measuring between 1m50 and 1m55 long. The all mountain: the calculation is the same as for freestyle. The only thing that changes is the number of centimetres to be deducted from your height. To determine the size of your future snowboard, deduct between 15 and 20 cm from your height. Your weight is also an element to take into account before throwing your vow on a snowboard. Board sizes vary greatly and so does the number of boards. That's why it's important to be as precise as possible in your board selection and snowboard size. The greater the weight and height of the user, the bigger the board will be.
